Explanation:I first located various pictures that represent the benefits of IMPs and edited them on Picnik. I used Animoto and added words as some visuals and the pictures that represented the benefits of IMPs. It was a very easy tool to use. I can see many benefits from using this tool. You could use Animoto for creative writing prompts, story telling, and sequencing stories (Before, Middle, and ending)

Citations: All photos are screenshots that I took from the web 2.0 tools main homepage.
Explanation: I decided to take screenshots of each web 2.0 tool that I think would aid in either the teacher presenting a lesson or a child expanding a previously taught lesson. The video's purpose is to give ideas of different web 2.0 tools that benefit any type of learner or teacher. This video's goal is to enhance the use of technology within the 21st century classroom.

Explanation: I continued to focus on my activity from 4-A-1. This video could be used as an introduction to the Fitness Portfolios and help catch the kid's attention. I've included a quote that I like to use with the kids. It helps them to focus on their own goals and not the people around them. I've also included the components of the fitness portfolio.

Explanation:

I decided to create this video as an example for my students in the upcoming unit we’ll be doing in my Social studies class. We’re about to start discussing the various reform movements in the 1800s and one of the major themes on which we’ll focus is deciding whether or not an individual can truly change society. By combining a few words, meaningful pictures and the upbeat song I feel as though the message of my video (that an individual can change society) is able to be seen.

I plan on having my students use some sort of IMP to answer the very same question in the coming weeks and I think my students would love to use Animoto to do so. However, with the limited amount of text available in Animoto I would require some additional materials (maybe writing or an interview) for deeper analysis. I also think I will have my students post the link to their Animoto in a forum post and ask their classmates to reply with critiques and evaluations of the videos. By completing this IMP my students would work on creating and innovating and communicating and collaborating online.
